Details.

It was a cracking weekend, and I'm only sorry I made half of it. Thoroughly good fun, good laughs, good drink, good grub, bad head. Hey ho!

Great to meet up with some old friends and put site names to new faces.

Many thanks from all of us due to Bazman for getting it all planned.....shame about the drop outs....only 15 turned up..... their loss, and I'm sure there will be a repeat. Well done!

PS Symon...sorry I missed you!

Thanks for organising it Baz, great weekend. The campsite was excellent, as was the bbq Tim put on, sitting outside the pub was fine as well, all helped by big dollops of sunshine, beer and bullshit.

I'll go back. Nice change of venue and it could cope with a fair few of us.

Also good to get some advice on key security, apparently the safest place to keep your bike key is in your tent, even when you pack it up and strap onto your bike.

Takes a while to get going but clearly works

Great to meet you guys. Shame me & Ad couldn't have stayed... Great spin down to Stranraer, just a light spit of rain as we arrived.

Pissing from Larne to Skerries... 😕

The XT's left fork seal and drivechain now proper shagged, but fair play to the little Yam - got me to Leenane, around the NC500 and home again in a great week's riding.

Tasty fish & chips on Friday night in the hotel. 👍

Highlight of the week was Mull - easily good enough for a return visit...

Great W/E. Thanks Baz for the run round Mull I'd forgotten how stunning it is. Very rarely got above 40mph and what a fantastic ride. Good to meet some old faces and some new one's. Laid in my sleeping bag Friday night laughing away to myself as the conversation outside got around to the Almond free Cherry and Almond cake that Uturn Tony's good lady had baked for Dent. (You had to be there to understand it)
As usual after a Scotland trip I rode home in the pissing rain, thank goodness for modern gear and tyres, it can make even the worst conditions a pleasure. Got to say though, I'm struggling a bit these days in the dark and pissing rain.

Friday and Saturday where as good a days as you'll ever get late September in Scotland, in fact a little to warm at times.

Definitely up for it next year Baz.

Herman the German, well what more can you say!! a great guy, in his own way. Was good to meet you.

Got the rain going through Glencoe and down Loch Lomond but had abated by Glasgow only to re-appear at various times on the trip, generally good though.

I wondered who 'd joined the dozy buggers club Tony!

Yep Pete, twas me :blast
