Device Manager

My computer does not see any devices i.e.router printer etc, on looking in device manager its empty, any ideas? its running XP pro. It just disapeared between boot ups nothing changed first I knew was that I couldnt get on the internet, not seeing the router so I checked in device manager and nothing.

Cheers for that cookie, but none of it is working, looks like a full install is the answer.

No didnt work, nor did hacking the registery, just back after a full install.
