Devils Bridge

I know this is a bit late....early, you know what I mean! I'm having a quick blast to Devils bridge this morning on my SV1000SZ (blue&white). Should be there about 10...10:30.
Can't stay long though, I have to be back for about one..ish Hope to see some fellow GSers down there

Stupid feckin' F1: Tried to stay awake to watch it but fell asleep in the hour of pre-race drivel......
Went to bed and didn't get up 'til noon.
Had a comm's black-out in case of hearing the results....

Got there about 10:15 to find the place crawling with cops. They were pulling everyone in, checking for tax, insurance, etc. I was bricking it cos of my loud Beowulf cans, ( glad they didn't do a decibel test)

However, the nice copper who checked my bike over said everything was ok and even gave me a token for a free cuppa
Talking to some other riders and they said the buggers had been there the previous weekend too.

I was surprised how many bikes were there considering how early it was. I counted at least five GS12s with more arriving as I was leaving.
The ride over was great with very little traffic on the roads. It was like having my own personal rac.. I mean err.. road

No police today and only half a dozen bikes. No bikes at Hartside either

Temperature gauge kept on flashing up on the hill tops especially around Hawes

BTW the little ice flake icon is shown if it's cold enough on all of the OBC pages.
