I popped over to see mate’s bike today.
OMG, what a beast. He’s taken the baffles out and it’s obscenely loud. He said the baffles are very short and make bugger all difference.
The build quality looks superb. Much better than the Multis . Exquisite switch gear and lovely billet reservoirs for clutch and brake fluid.
Going to bag a go on it in a week or so when I’m back home.

Talking to a lad today who currently has one of each. Says he actually prefers the engine on the V twin as its not as hot. However the V4 is a more comfortable bike. He was out on his V twin today, its got 16,000 miles on it and it still looks minty

Ducati quality has vastly improved over the past few years and they've nailed the looks on that RS version...not cheap though! If I could afford one, I'd still be very tempted, it's a beast.

A friend has just bought one of these (not the RS version). Looking forward to getting out for a ride with him once he has completed the 'run in' so that I can have a spin on it. I wasn't keen on the Rocket 3 he has replaced with the Diavel

I agree : he’s bonkers , but so are these RS desmo versions. Very hard to justify their existence and their cost .

I quite like Smokey. He’s a tad hyper but quite entertaining . Some of his unboxing vids are amusing ….to me anyway, but there are very few YouTube vloggers I don’t like , unless they start their vid with hey up and then twist every fucking syllable to sound as ridiculous as possible . Apart from those two utter cùnts …….even Mark Pulling is watchable , if only to watch him twist the throttle at least 20% and comment how quick a bike is, and then give it a five star review. They’re all five stars in his book

Many YouTube reviews make even MCN reviews seem well written. Most 'tubers' are just talentless self publicists, any twat can post them and unfortunately many sad gits do. Poor old MCN had to publish a game changing scoop review every week which was bad enough

Been out for an hour on mates X-Diavel.
It’s an absolute weapon even in Touring Evo with medium power.
Stick it in Sport Evo and it’s nuts. Only went up to 6500 rpm which is current running in shift point but it red lines at 11500.
It’s stupidly loud with the full Akra.
Very comfortable too.
Proper snarling beast especially in Sport. It pops and cracks on up changes. Great quick shifter.
Handling is very planted , not that I pushed it much over here and it’s not mine so was being careful.
