Dartford Crossing yesterday, Blackwall Tunnel today, didn't make too much difference to me on my bike. If you go in the car what do you expect?

Sometimes I love my job! I joined the Dartford crossing queue at 05.30 yesterday morning, was only about 30 minutes to get through then. Then I headed up the A1 and hopefully won't be back in Kent until Thursday evening!

Left home at 7.25 a long commute of 4 miles traffic was very heavy this morning and at work for 7.45 the pleasures of been upnarth :comfort

walked from my bedroom to the office. Flight of stairs was a challenge but thankfully only minor hazards

Don't worry, they're gonna dig a new, cheap, railway from the north. Move to Birmingham, problem solved.

If you go in the car what do you expect?

I expect the Dartford Crossing tunnel workers to finish their work before the rush hour - not over-run until gone 9am on a Monday morning.

I expect diesel vehicle users to be able to keep their diesel fuel in their tanks.

It's not too much to ask is it?

(Blackwall Tunnel is still shut according to latest reports)

You can keep your gridlocked traffic but can we have some leaky cranes in South Wiltshire as we desperately need a lot of roads resurfacing. This years budget will be less than the cost of resurfacing the length of blackwall tunnel.
