Difference between 2014 and 2015 1190 Adv?

Looking at buying a new 2015 1190 Adv S.

Is there any way to make sure it is really a 2015 model and not a 2014?

Some people prefer the R, as they reckon the manual suspension is better

No discounts on the R where as you can get £3k off the S

Tried the S and I like the suspension and handling of it.

Scrambler is my keeper just fancy the KTM at the moment

It was as simple as the 2015 model year bikes have a DID chain with gold side plates, different fuel tank graphics, upgraded Super Adventure starter motor and mapping upgrade

I doubt there are any NOS 2014 bikes anywhere

2015 bikes being offered at £10995otr

Shame you didn't ask this question last Saturday as a mate of mine has just part exchanged his 200 mile old 1190 Adventure S with heated grips and crash bars in for a 1290 Super Duke R

Thanks - yes still holds true.

Vin I have been given has F as the 10th digit which is 2015. 2014 models would have an E.

So all good

getting it on 7th of May from Premier our 2 local dealers had no 2015 models and so were way out in terms of being able to do a deal.

Must catch up with you on the next Nottingham breakfast meet and discuss exhausts

Well - picked up my new 2015 1190 Adventure today and all is good



They even gave me a free KTM top box



Suspension definitely better on the bumpy back roads than my mate's XR
