Hi All

I'm sure this has been asked before but anyway!! I have a HID set up on my dipped is bright when as standard but I wish to brighten up the main beam when in the dipped position. I know I could add a HID on the main beam witch but that doesn't brighten it up for daily running so is there a way that I can do this so that I have 2 x bright lights for day time use on not on main beam??? Thanks in advance.

I have used a LED in the pilot bulb, this lights the main beam lens with a white light that matches the HID in the dip. You need to get an LED that gives high temperature colour 4500kelvin upwards so you get a white rather than a yellow light.

I used a 20watt halogen on my pilot bulb of my K bike, this gives more light but will look yellow compared with the HID.

When I fitted HID's to my dual headlight 1100 I changed side lights to LED and auxiliary spot lights bulbs to 6400K I think.

The dual HID's have dip/full on them also.
