Just passed 750 miles and loving the bike. But trying to keep the backend clean is becoming a real pain. Slightest bit of rain and there's crap all over the place.
The old 2009 hex was not bad at all.
Anyone found a solution?

ive got a imberger carbon hugger, mudsling and a touratech guard fixed to the number plate... keeps most of it off

A mudsling helps but won't prevent worst of it. A full hugger is only way.

Got the chineese mud slinger, and a number plate thingy.
Full hugger ?

Already binned the rear hugger (advice from austin).
Got the number plate extender thingy.
I was thinking about further extending the number plate thingy.

Yes. Take the car if it's raining, and you don't want to get wet or dirty.

I find that the problem is caused by the rotating rear wheel on a wet and dirty surface - only let the rear wheel rotate when the roads are dry and the problem will be solved.

dont buy the Chinese rear mudsling type as they are rubbish, don't fit well and hit the swingarm as I have found out today from fitting it last night, mine is a 2017 GSA TE and I don't really want to rub the paint off a brand new bike so its coming off

buy a REAL mudsling

That comment would be useful in the Mudsling thread.
