Great job with the write ups and piccy taking, excellent stuff.
Heres mine:
The start line, outside my house and its not raining
The first lane, over to Ysbyty Ifan and SarahTeach finding her bike legs.
EmmsyPoo getting a bit of advise from Pumpy about which track to take then off she whizzes full pelt
A small brain teaser for Pumpy and I as her hand guard shifts jamming her klutch.
Emmsy enjoying the water
SarahTeach keeping dry and balanced
Pumpy making waves and not staying dry.......great stuff

Sarah had told me earlier that she didn't do mud......anyone thats been up 'crushed lamb' knows this corner for its sloshy spot, sorry Sarah but that bike needed to get dirty and i'm sure you were laughing
Following in good style was Emmsy

Up Llyn Alwen lane where the guys turned up
Emmsy getting into this fantastic place
Pumpy going too fast for my camera
Final destination and time to head off home as the weather was turning nasty and muscles were aching
Great fun, great people, whens the next Dirty Girls run????

Funny you should mention that Tina mi darlin', cos I is organising a Dirty Girls Quarry Weekend on 28th Feb & 1st March.
Im probably going to post it on the Pink Way Round, as its another Dirty Girls event.
So any budding orf roadin' lassies out there that want to learn how to in a nice quite and controlled environment, chuck me a PM.
But dont forget numbers are limited.
Where did I stop?
Yep, just below Foel Frech at 429 metres above sea level...
The next trail was 'Crushed Lamb', if I remember correctly.
Lovely little lane...
... with lots of countryside around
Wet, muddy, slippery...
... with some tricky rocksteps along the way...
What more can you possibly ask for?
We then stopped for a well deserved lunch break at the Café...
... in Pentrefoelas - nice food, friendly service, reasonable prices - highly recommendable!
Practice makes perfect - so Tina showed us a few more of these deep muddy ruts...
... with the additional excitement of some Aqua Incognita...

The next picture shows what happens when you leave the shelter of a stone walls on a stormy day - photo deliberately blurred to protect the rider's privacy...

So many lanes, so little time...

Traditional cottage with lots of potential
Rob looks a bit knackered...
What have you done to him? You didn't tell him to bring his SE while everybody else turned up on pogos, didn't you?
With the weather closing in and darkness falling, we decided to ride home quickly and get into the hot bath before the boys...
Looks like everybody was well pleased with the day's achievements
Have you ever noticed that dinner is twice as good after some serious trail riding?
Not to mention the desert...
Here our lovely hostess again - thank you for all your efforts, Tina!
Not sure though who brought that Forry along - you just can't take him anywhere...
The weekend wasn't over yet - but it's my bedtime now, sorry...
