discoloured alloy/spoked wheels

muc off bike cleaner

Only fook bro, I've seen the damage muc off can do, i was once told if BMW ask you what you clean your bike with never say muc off as they will void any corrosion warranty issues .

We used to wash mx bikes with the stuff and it fecked the plastics and stained all the alloy.

Horrible stuff, i stopped using it years ago...:nenau

The overall best stuff i've found to date is Moto Xtream Wash. Even diluted down with water, it still shifts grime with ease.
And because its diluteable, it goes a long way and its none aggressive and safe to use on the whole bike. :bow

Muc off & traffic film remover

It badly stained the black shiny wheels of one of my bikes.
Would advise people to stay away from it.

Dealers use 'traffic film remover' in their wash bays, it's aggressive on paintwork but gets a very quick turn around for a free wash.
It also dulls paint if used undiluted or too regular. (So stay away)

I agree with this post.. I would think u will be met with a standard reply of 'get on yer bike sir' or similar.

You won't be the first to complain I'm sure.
Good luck.

They'll just say it was user error, regardless they will make some sh1t up, putting the full responsibility on you.

ive had 3 gs's (with wires on 2) from new in the last 6 years and have always used muc off with no issues or problems, brilliant stuff, i buy 10 ltrs for £20 off flee bay posted, i always finish off with spraying gt85 all over the bike after then polish it up to a shine, gt85 is the best product ive used on a bike, never had any corrosion tarnishing issues:thumby:

Muc off should be fine, if used as directed (diluted) if you spray it on neat then beware.

Ive also used it in the past and have not had any issues with it.
