dismal lights

seen a tread couple of days ago about twisting dip around to get better spead of light. so took screen off, headlamp surround ,undone allen bolt which holds dip in , jiged about alittle, looks like theres slots in it to stop it turning, horizontal. baaaaaaa gave up in fear of breaking. could somebody explain again, please , dddddoooo who through that brick. thanks a million.

I had same issue, fist time could not budge the ferker. Went back again and pulled it forward, then twisted it and she went round. I think I would put some wd40 in there if it happened again.

went back undone the whole lot again, jiged about a lot with wd 40 , done it ,hopefully will see on the way home tonight at 7 pm. thanks.

I put some Osram silverstar 50% brighter bulbs in , which made the poor beam pattern much brighter.
But the standard lights are just plain shite, even with better bulbs in. I'm amazed at just how crap these lights are. my old Aprilia scooter had much better lights. I think even my supermotos had a better spread of light?

got it sorted for a few days, its called a land rover, and it goes offroad.
