Parked the GS in the garage a few days ago having been out on the road - this morning the display appears to have reset - trips both at zero and the clock at the incorrect time. Battery has not been disconnected and the bike started without any problem.

Has anyone seen this on their bike?

Thanks

Sadly yes!

On mine, the mileage reading changed to km as well! Needed a new set of clocks I'm afraid. Get your dealer to have a look...............and brace yourself!

Could be something really simple such as a loose wiring connection to the rear of the clock assembly.

Don't go rushing off to your dealer with a pocket full of cash just yet.

Check the wiring connector is tight and sealed, try spraying some WD40 on it to displace any moisture.

If the clock time stays set and the trips work I wouldn't worry just yet, so long as the instruments still work and the mileage is still correct.

Thanks - I've had a problem before with the speedo reading much less than it should. Cleared by cleaning the connector - I'll have another look at it.
