Distant Suns over the NEC

I've read all 3 of Sam's books, and really enjoyed them.

I enjoyed the Long Way Up/Down/Sideways stuff as well, but I think Sam's adventures are more interesting and seem a lot more representative of what most overlanders can expect.

I'd say they are getting better with each new one he writes too:)

Deffo worth a read if you're stuck for something to put on yer Xmas list :thumb

Sam - I shall be there 5th Dec and hope to buy your latest - hopefully with a suitable "get up off your arse and get riding round the World" type signing.
Happy to sponsor the ride!

NEC

Sam- your talk at Rainy City Manchester was inspirational, don't know if you remember my lad Brad asking loads of questions, well you inspired him enough that he passed his test last week at 17 and buying his first bigger bike limited to 33bhp, plenty for the time being. We will be visiting the NEC on the 5th as well so hopefully see you there for a copy of the new book. :thumb

Just a quicky to say thanks to everyone who stopped off at Traveldri-Plus to say hello at the NEC. Great to see you guys. I appreciate the support and the chance to have a bit of a natter. Hope you all had good shows.
Cheers for now,
Sam
PS It is true! Camping in the middle of winter can put ice on your moustache!:)

Distant Suns

A great read, picked it up at the show and almost finished now. Unfortunately it made my lunch breaks a bit longer than they should be :)

Looking forward to the next instalment......
