Do BMW balance rear tyre on new bikes??

I am now on my 2nd GS12 and have noticed both bikes did not have any balancing weights on the rear wheel same goes for my two mates that have both the same bike as me????????????

Mine have always been balanced when the tyres are changed. Can't remember if the first rear was when the bike was collected. I am sure I read some here that out of the factory they are not balanced, but might be wrong

Yes Ive also noticed this there was never any on my 1200 from new or my mates.

Both front & rear were balanced on my GSA

I got one fitted at a dealer who couldn't balance GS wheels because of the big hole in the centre. The bike felt perfect at all speeds, even after Ultraseal was put in.
