paid over 10k with all the extras, sold 98 vfr 800 for 3650 private so nearly 7k to upgrade. was it worth it? yes, all in the gs is on another level (it's not perfect though, as you may have noticed from this site).

I fitted Ohlins today on my Adv
Also a couple of hours on my 80GS - round the twisties - just great - slow speed thrills - almost have time to eat your sandwiches when you are banking over on the bends - just great - almost take both hands off the bars and it just goes around while you are scratching your noise - even on TKCs - nothing like it - I'll be out again tomorrow morning

Yep I've ridden Airheads.. exactly as you say (apart from scratching your noise ) everything happens sooo slowly youve even got time for a shave

My Brother In Law had a R100 when I had my Katana 1100, we swapped Bikes about 20 feet before a junction.. I pulled away and turned left at Junction as I would on Katana and promptly scraped the rocker cover.. he wasnt best pleased.. made me grin though Swore I'd never ride another one.. slow dangerous things!!

My 1150 didn't have them! I got 5950 for my 29000 miler Y reg.
I believe I was fair, given bikes condition, and I'm convinced I didn't rob the guy I sold it too. Seemed meant to be and all that mystic stuff. Maybe I was lucky and you weren't, however I only got one enquiry but that was all I needed.

The 1200 is worth it if you can scrape the dosh.
