Do you think this clutch needs replacing?

Had a minor problem with the 1100GS in Spain this past summer... decided to ride it home and sort it out in the garage rather than book in with a dealer abroad. Anyhow, finally got round to taking it all apart... what do you think? I think it got a bit too hot!

As I have not seen a clutch on these before... with reference to the third photo... there appears to be a ridge worn into the clutch housing...or maybe they all look like this. Moreover, perhaps it is just the one spot with the dirt cleaned off.? So... should I replace this bit or does it matter? I'm guessing this part is not included with a clutch kit, which seems to contain the rest of the bits. Obviously, everything else is being replaced. Any views welcomed!

Nothing wrong with that at all, just soak it in oil for a couple of days and put it back in* and everything will be fine:thumb2

*Might not work afterwards:D

Minor problem.......

Father with zero off road ability and busted up ankle:augie

Well that about sums it up! It was one hell of a day though! Not to mention getting out of the mountains (without roads) and back to home from Spain with that clutch... no wonder it didn't seem to like starting whilst going up hill. Mind you, that only gave him the chance to drop my 1150 twice as I was driving the 1100 at that point ! :blast
