Do you use your Tour X on other bikes?

After getting a Tour X last summer I've got used to have the peak for shielding the low sun and the wider vision given by the visor. But now the GS has gone, it feels a bit odd on the GT. It's too early to tell as I've only had the GT for hours and got soaked getting it home. It might be more down to the adjustable screen?

So do you use your TourX on other bikes, for those who are lucky/allowed enough to have more than one?

Worn my Tour X when riding the wifes Falco but found the peak got in the way when you are in a sports bike riding position. Would use it on anything that had a more upright riding position.

Yup............bought mine before I got the GS so was used on a CCM Supermoto before that (and soon to be used on my DRZ)

Sorry, that didn't help much did it When I first got my GS I did a weekend raid on the Pyrenees and due to the amount of 'making good progress' that ensued, I took the peak off. The helmet was fine without it and didn't look too weird to me.

Subsequently, though, I've not bothered with removing it as it's never been much of a problem. Except once.............test riding a naked K1200 thingy..........I looked up and behind me when I shouldn't have and ripped the peak out of it's l/h fixing

On a dry test ride on the GT at some over average speeds the odd gust did catch the peak, or oddly push the peak and lid down harder on to the head which was very odd.

If I take the peak off is would save having to switch lids, but it is dam handy in low sun light. Maybe I should have got the black one instead of the challenge blue!

I took the peak off mine and used it as a normal lid on sports bike for a while but couldnt get over the slightly retro 70s alien lid stylie it had. likely better if i had been fitted with v'dark visor.

Yep use it on the GSA the KTM 950SM and the T Max. I am also taking it to India next week for Enduro India as its a real Godsend with the early Morning low sun starts!! I Will be on a 350cc Enfield Bullit with full Motorcross armour !! It all looks very Mad Max ! Top Helmet

I've got a dark visor which looks smart even without the peak on, but is a hassel to switch them every day at this time of year.

I took the peak off this morning and there were a few "bright" moments in the moring sun. The visor is so big and high it's like a car windscreen, but I could adjust the screen without any odd wind drag on the peak. I think a few more runs are needed. ESA and heated seat should be standard, I didn't feel so bad when it said 4.5deg on the dash!

Took off my peak for a very long ride on the motorway, and haven't actually bothered putting it back on! Use it on my naked bike too and it's just fine. Just wouldn't seem right with the peak tho!

Does the fog city cover enought of the visor, they never seemed high enough in the past? The dazzel this morning was harsh and may send the peak back into service until it's light and boths end of my trip.

Tour X plus Fog City

There is of course a draw back to the Fog City in that there is a bit of light sparkle from oncoming lights but sooooo much better than trying to see through misting.

You just have to careful when fitting to get it as high as possible in the field of view (using the white bit you stick on the outside of the visor during fitting) and you have followed the high curvature of the visor with the insert. Rather annoying to get it stuck in and find the middle bit isn't stuck down properly.

Bought the TourX while I still had the Tuono, found that on a naked bike the wind did yank your head about a bit, especially on turning your head. Anything with a fairing seems fine, and it worked ok even on the K1200S at silly speeds.
