I've bought a garmin 660 powered mount, to use my Nav 6 on my other bike, but looking here now realise that there's a BMW mount with buttons.:blast

If I use the Garmin mount, is there a way to zoom in and out of the map, and access all the features of the device, or is there code written in to the Nav 6 to specifically require the need for the handlebar wheel or mount with buttons?

Logically, it should zoom in and out, change pages, allow the saving of points etc independently of the cradle buttons, so as to allow bikermates to operate the device whilst chilling with like minded souls in Tesco.

Logically, it should. Does it, in reality?:augie

The 660 mount will only power the Nav 6. So your zooming in and out is the same as if you hold the unit in your hands.

Write multiple posts complaining if it doesn't. Liberal use of the words: 'rip off', 'shite', 'accountants', 'not fit for purpose' and 'small claims court' will earn you extra bikermate points.
