….. and the bridge at Millau. No UKGSer visit to anywhere in France is ever complete without them and the D-Day beaches. There is nothing else in France.
You forgot Oradour-sur-Glane.
Next leg of the trip.

Excellent, you’ll be able to knock off the D-Day beaches and achieve the Jack, Queen and King ‘Court’ of bikermate ‘Must do’ sites in France.

Doc Doc! Another one being sarcy.![]()
Doc loves me. In a manly, firm hand shake way. None of that hugging nonsense, I hasten to add.

I bet you are in the rosé wine drinking fraternity

Troyes is a regular favourite of mine, Brit Hotel right in centre near old town - perfect place for a meal and a few beers in the most beautiful city I have ever wandered around - although admitedly I avoid cities on holidays and in the UK they are all pretty fugly.
Never took ferry to Rotterdam, think to start with you could drop directly south and cut through a bit of the Ardenne - Durbury down to Bouillon, then the run from there to Verdun is pleasant enough, from there to Troyes - maybe a bit too long for one day, so possibly Verdun as stop?
Then at Avalon pickup the Morvan heading south before turning West towards riders rest? Think form there on most D roads would be quite pleasant?
