What time are you expecting to arrive Europort Doc? If you be got a couple of hours why not ride over to Brielle. It's only 15 minutes away. Beautiful little town. Great food places, bars etc. Watch the gorgeous Dutch ladies while you have an ice cream. Here's a What3Words location to loads of parking at the side of a canal. There's a "fish wagon" there that cooks while you wait. Best spring roll full of shellfish I've ever had. Great shops. A bit like York with the cobbled streets.
Thanks Tim I might check it out as I should have time. I always set off with plenty of time just in case there are issues on the roads. Would rather have time to kill up Rotterdam end.
Just be aware when travelling back to Rotterdam. The A12 motorway is closed due to working on the road and new flyover and they expect chaos today and in the coming 10 days arounds that area. Its the road from Utrecht to Rotterdam / The Hague. Might be wise to avoid and come north via Eindhoven and Tilburg. Brielle is indeed a great place to visit if you get time. As this a Monday should be pretty quiet.
Just looked now so think I'll follow Google maps as Tomtom was sending me the A12. Thanks for the heads up Grant.
