Doc does Cochem

Love Germany, but never been there. Cologne has been closest to date. Usually down south. Great food and beer 👍👍

Never get fed up of visiting.
Likewise. Road surfaces generally excellent with odd goat track being in the state equivalent to UK A roads* Not to forget and mention that these have hardly any cars on them. Unlike the French and their 80kmph, the speed limits in Germany are 100kmph on all roads out of town. Autobahn naturally a largely unrestricted. (I’ve not been on one during my last trip)

I’ve discovered that the fuel cost is on par with UK, so is the food and drink. For me being a veggie, that too was excellent. Everything is marked and generally there is a choice of dishes to choose from.
The French, Belgians and Spanish do need to learn and to keep up with the modern day trends. :D

Also I’ve remembered a bit of German that I had forgotten. Going back in three weeks time, to remember some more.

* the fellow was marking out the cracked edges under the apartment, I suspect there will be some roadworks going on during your stay.

This will likely to be deemed a perfect road surface for UK.

What a strange thing to say. Expecting others to cater for your diet but vegetarian and vegan people definitely don’t cater for meat eaters. It does seem very one sided. I very much doubt a vegetarian restaurant would cook me a steak.

Ditto. Right back at you.

Would you as a carnivore choose to go to a Vegetarian restaurant in the first place? Highly unlikely. 🙄

If invited to a vegetarian or vegan persons house for meal I would expect the curtesy the veggie would expect. I would expect my diet to be catered for. Just likethe veggies expect their diet to be catered for.
I’m sure a veggie would expect their diet to be catered for in a carnivorous restaurant so why not the other way round?

Anyway pit stop. Made a wrong turn in Rotterdam which caused me a few problems and then hit very bad traffic. Anyway suns out and should be there for 4pm ish depending on stops.20240527_111128.jpg

Mind you, having to stand up on the pegs to see the road signs must get tiring after a while! :D No wonder he went wrong.
