I’ll be interested to hear what you make of the flatlands of the Baltic coast / Stralsund / Rugan island. Not so many Brits visit this part of Germany, though have in mind that the German holidays have started, so it might be busier than normal.
Will do pal we have plenty of time to have a good look round.

Everyone does their holidays differently, but Doc does them ‘His way’ (which is great) and at least he tries out new places, away from the regularly tried and tested old ‘safe’ favourites.

Trip day and the weather is looking good.
Going to have a ride down to the coast near Boston Lincolnshire today and follow the coast up towards Hull for a change today. Usually its Whitby but fancied a change. Looking as though we could get some rain in Rotterdam tomorrow for our ride up to Verden.

Although bike travel can be really cheap after the initial outlay of the bike (which has already been done in your case)
I travel light now and stay in swanky hotels, but my favourite trips were still when I was young and skint!! Bikes and bikers are very welcome in Europe and you’ll never be left in the lurch as long as you have a personality and a sense of adventure
That’s what this forum really needs. Someone travelling on a shoe string!!
