“Eels, the most nutrimental food there is….”

Our second office was the first to be opened in Lovat Lane, mentioned at 5:12. Billingsgate fish market was stil very much trading, the lane and the street to the market glistening each morning with fish scales. I will be in the last generation of ‘City workers’ to remember it.

Likewise, Tubby Isaac’s was still there at Aldgate.. Sadly gone since 2013, replaced by a burger wagon.

Friday, I am happy to do the East London / DLR and boat trip / Pie Mash & Liquor and City thing. Meet at Tower Gateway at 09:30. If anyone wishes to join, please let the thread know.

IF Doc is out in Soho on Friday night then 9.30am for a Saturday start will be interesting. He could stil be out !!

The Saturday (daylight hour tour) should meet at Terry’s cafe, starting with a Billingsgate breakfast.
They’re licensed from 8am so a Bloody Mary will set you up for the rest of the day .

Entirely up to you, as I’ll be recovering on Saturday, just throwing yet another suggestion into the mix .,
