Original plan was to come down Thursday lunch and stay at my daughter's place in central London. Elderly neighbour then asked me to drive him to a cancer appt in Nottingham Friday morning so my plan all changed.
Neighbour going for a scan tomorrow to see if Friday is needed or not so I'll hopefully know tomorrow late.
If I'm then free I'll come down Thursday as planned and stay until Saturday...I'll know for definite tomorrow evening

Good selection of bars and pubs in Redchurch st, the Owl & Pussycat can be pretty lively.

Now trendy with the ‘Allsaints’ crowd, whose main shop is just down the road. When I lived in Bethnal Green, the pub was a real boozer. It is said to be very haunted.
