Doc the boss and an Indian does France part two

Those roads are brilliant. We used to tow the boat down to Aix-les-Bains and I always went the D roads on the western shore from Chanaz to the south end and back up the shoreline. The tight hairpins always caused consternation with rock faces overhanging the road. We rarely met anyone coming the other way, which is just as well.

I'm enjoying the trip and thinking of ways to encourage Anna to go for longer....

Total miles since setting off so far 884.
Last night tonight and a new destination tomorrow.

I agree, sweepers are a lot more enjoyable than endless hairpins, often in the Alps I'm glad to get down from a pass to the low hills, forests and meadows and relax a bit
You bunch of whimps 🤣

Love a mountain pass or two. But on a recent trip, I did enjoy fast sweeping corners too.
