Does anyone have one of these fitted to there 1250GS ?

love the look of these headlight guards but not sure if they fit the 1250 ??

Hi Rob, I’ve used wish before and it takes ages as their stuff comes from China, plus none of it fitted ( not the headlight cover )
And of course that cover is bloody ugly :)

I looks at one of these in 2017 for the Rallye I had then, i was told it wasn’t legal to use at night. Not a problem if you don’t ride at night I guess.

Strictly speaking, not approved for use on road, day or night.

Ive had both the copy and the BMW one, the chinese one started to go yellow at the edges where the genuine one didnt

I know...it says so in the BMW instructions - Off road use only

My feelings towards that is I understand but I don't care :):)

It will fit with the adaptive light, the headlight is the same shape and all the swivelley gubbins is inside, they really are a ball ache to fit though

It's not etched on the BMW one, just on the paper instructions

Ebay cheap + cheerful fitted perfectly when it finally arrived

Did you need to take the beak off? I have the same but not fitted it yet.

No I did a sneaky and cut the bottom brackets and fitted them with industrial double sided tape very solid
Rob

Won’t have the “not for road use” etch either in the Chinese ones, but mine went yellow around the edges from UV rays after a while.

They are a pain to fit  whole front end has to come off and the rubber bungs are different as in one side is a slimmer profile. If you try and use the standard headlight bungs you will swear a lot as they don’t compress enough to slide the locking washer on

Ask me how I know :D

I’ve got correctbungs and it fitted a treat :thumb2
