Seriously folks, all you owners or soon to be owners of the new 1200 don't let these old sad'os from the oilhead section wind you up.

Go and have a look in the 1100/1150 section.
On the first page alone of 25 threads 13 yes 13 are about problems they are having with their bikes and another 4 about things they want to do to "Improve this perfect bike".

I've just spent 3 days in the lakes riding some fantastic roads on my 1200TC and it was a joy to ride, but I know when I return next time on my new bike it's going to be even more joyous.

Just remember it's all banter.

Steve

It's all a laugh! I love it! I'm happy with the wasser they can all fuck themselves! Dinosaurs!

Will be exactly the same in this section by the time the Wasserhead is ten years old. By then, the owners will be waxing lyrically about the good old days when you had real control of the throttle and at the same time posting about how to remove rust on the brake discs :D

This is just gentle ribbing, wait until later in the year when the nights have drawn in. That'll be when proper piss taking kicks off, all with the hope of making a WC rider flounce off the forum. It is quite entertaining though:)

So, while the old boys have got their bikes tucked up because it's dark outside and come on the forum to take the pee,it will all fall on deaf ears as we'll still be out riding due to the superior lighting on the WC :thumb

Actually, I thought that that last comment of yours would be better applied to you.

Please do us all a big favour and keep your fatuous comments to yourself.

Banter and ribbing is all part of the fun. As is new owner's enjoyment of their new bikes. if it winds you up so much, then why not resist the urge to read any posts in the Wasserhead section.

3-5 years time when the R1300GS WC comes out.... (or 1250) :D

Better get my order in now! Can't wait..

But the 2013 WC is just awesome. Having spent the morning blasting round the Black Forest in Germany I can say the handling and engine are first class. And as for the FBW...there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. Throttle response is faultless and a joy.

Well of course there is an Elite breed, it's a German bike FFS, check your history.

Sooner you understand that the better it will be for everyvon....:D:D
