I hate you all, especially now my back is nearly better.:tears

Great report :thumb2

Makes me want to try some of this off-road malarkey (and I do lust after a KTM 640) :D

Fantastic report - great pics of some lovely lanes! :thumb2

Thanks for taking the time and posting, I look forward to Forry's and Timpo's photographic evidence of your trip... :green gri

Hmmm yes, I fear that may put a different slant on the report so far.

Think I only had one proper off, on the slippy log:blast....Timpo (Captain Nemo) on the other hand....:augie

Well I couldn't get away from work til Wednesday afternoon so it was a quick blast over to Dinas Mawddwy to meet up with everyone.Tent up and straight to the pub for food and beer there was a small late night incident with a petrol stove but I'll keep quiet on that :augie

Woke to a thick frost a fuzzy head we all waited for the suns rays to warm us up.

I'm not sure whether to be impressed or terrified. As someone who's off-road experience consists of a day on a ktm400 going round a basic course with i2imca the sort of routes you're doing look completely impossible. Really must find someone in the local area who's interested in some Really Simple green lanes to take the GS down and show me how it's done..

Then again, my girlfriend (who did the same off-road course as me, but with literally her cbt course and a 1 hour road ride as motorbike experience) did come home from work the other day going 'someone's put a dirt bike for sale on the notice board, I'm going to find out what it is tomorrow...'.

Justin

Can't get much flatter and easier than some of the Hertfordshire lanes...

Particularly now they are dry and hard...

I'd be happy to show you round...

Simon
