We’re certainly going to be passing Kingussie so I’ll give you a wave (that’ll confuse my wife) and if I’ve persuaded her to drive by then I’ll lift a can as a salute. I’m hoping for a roadworks free trip but I seem to remember from when we were up in September that the A9 is being messed with around Perth and there was a little bit going on where the A95 joins the A9 but I’ll probably avoid using the route up Speyside when there might be ice around :D

I'm now due on the 27th for 2 nights, got to be home for some tree surgery on the 30th

I'll plan for mid afternoon and will be passing Morrisons in the Fort if anyone needs supplies

Well....

I'm now a possible solo for 27th and leaving either 28th or 29th..by KTM 690 Enduro and tent :)
A couple of deciding factors ( weather for one ) to take into account !

Will be taking some Feesic and maybe also something to eat ( but probably re-hydrated nonsense ) akin to Firepot or similar...but that Micky bbq does look very decent :D

I'll call Tim on the 26th to see if he has camping space , and also see ( on the off chance ) if there are any cabins free...But the tent will suffice providing there are adequate eating / drinking spaces provided :rolleyes:

I’ll be sorting out my winter camping gear this afternoon and as long as having a crash helmet on what is basically a scabbed over rip in my head isn’t too uncomfortable I’ll be there mid afternoon on the 27th and probably heading south on the morning of the 29th.

It’s about 6hrs from here so that means being away by 9am to allow enough time to whip a tent up and if I can find somewhere suitable I might even put a tarp up as well just to give it that proper homeless over Xmas look so passers by throw scraps of food at me :D
