I had a run up the day and bought a rather special bottle

The only downside was being accosted by yon prick that did the whisky tour when Foxy, boatman and me were there in February. Me and my mate were sittin haen a coffee when he appeared spoutin' pish and tellin' crap stories and jokes. I've said it afore but if you had a gun wi' just wan bullet in it and met him, you widnae ken whether to shoot him or shoot yersel'...Whit a w@nker

Feck - you guys havn't had the chop have you!! Were going through all that cr4p to. Looks like I'm okay luckily however getting transfered across to the WPP/BLP early in the new year. Hope you get sorted soon. We've just lost some of our construction lads too

Ronno - unfortunately (or fortunately by the sound) I'll be just offshore again for this one so have fun. I'll have to try and get out on a Sunday and meet up with GC and Klanky as they are better for me than Saturdays too

Saturday 07.11.09

Meet at the Edradour distillery at 12 noon for coffee (if you want coffee that is). It's £2.50 a mug and you get to keep the rather fetching Edradour mug that it arrives in. The mugs cost £2.50 in the distillery shop so in effect, yer coffee's free.

I've booked a distillery tour for 12.30 hrs.

It's a really wee distillery so the tour only takes around 30 minutes. After a wee gadge aroond the distillery shop, we'll head back tae the Moulin Inn for a bar lunch.

The Dougie Maclean Caledonia single malt has sold out but the second batch will be on the shelves for oor visit. I spoke to somebody this morning and it's actually being bottled this week
