Although it goes against the grain I am tempted to keep this bottle what with it being from the 1st cask. And this gives me an excuse to head over again for a run and pick up another for drinking. So in anwser to your question.......I hivny a clue but richt fine I imagine.

Oh and do you leave you panniers on at night? :)

No pun intended, no really!

Right that's it I'm leaving!! :(

Oh and have you not got yersel a job yet. Here's me slaving away again after only 8 weeks off!!

For anyone who is heading over there on the 7th and wants a bottle of Caledonia from the original cask there were 4 left when I went today and 3 left when I had gone. Apparently they are bottling some more on Thursday but according to the chappie who runs the tasting bar its not quite the same and they will be putting it on as a regular. You may be able to call the shop and have them put you aside one of the 3 remaining bottles. Mine is no188 of 914 and signed by Mr McLean himself.

I can highly recomend the Maderia cask Eradour Whisky too.... very nice:augie

Oh and I hope the weather is better for yo than it was today....unbelievable:(

Wully, which way are Fruitcake and yourself travelling?

I thought about heading to Crianlarich an dthen east around Loch Tay if you would like to meet up en route.

Boatman, you come from Glasgow area as well don't you?

I been up there a few times in the last couple o weeks, distillery getting new warehouses built out the back. Been told the whisky's getting stored in diff locations all over scotland an it cost over a hundred grand a year...

The brickies that are workin there went in to the distillery bar last friday for a beer an got charged 6 quid a pint:eek: so the story goes..

I will be offshore so won't make it but have a good ride out. Mind watch for the leaves as they are all over the place after the storms and slippy as heck:thumb2

Have Fun
