Being 99.9% an on-road user, I'd appreciate a little advice.
My house, one of three, is up a bank on a limestone crescent shaped drive, which rejoins the main lane a bit further on. Both sides of the drive are fairly steep.
The pratts on one side have re-stoned half of the drive, which I use each day, and they have used the wrong grade of limestone making the drive quite slippery. the stone simly does not bed in and it's like riding on soft deep gravel.
The problem is that, at its worst stage, it rejoins the main lane and I have to virtually stop to see if there are any other vehicles on the lane before joining it - however breaking at that stage is a little bit unpredictable!
What is the knack to slowing down before the juction - or do I simply keep going and pray?
