'morning all,

Since fitting my MC hugger a few days back, my back brake has been macking a continuous noise... sounds like the pads are dragging on the disc. I've tried removing and refitting the calliper, but no change, and no obvious cause of the problem.... the disk is getting warm, but not excessively hot..

any ideas??

Paul

PS: Hugger - quality bit of kit, well done Dutch, worthh the wait!

Are you sure it's not the hugger rubbing?

No, as far as I can tell it's definately the brakes rubbing.... the hugger's pretty close to the tyre at the front but doesn't actually touch. I was hoping that the brakes would sort themselves out, but 100ish miles later its still the same....

Have you recently put new pads on?
Does the wheel rotate freely?

I found that the rear caliper gets quite hot anyway without anything dragging, particularly with round town work.

Burnt my finger on my rear disk after about a 1 mile ride. Forgot the brakes were linked and had been using all front. When i spin on the center stand I hare the brakes drag, but no real friction.

Cheers
