And there we were, Freddie and I. Yup, that's us, under that plume of wood smoke, keeping warm in our centrally heated abode, within earshot of you guys... Didn't see Tarks all weekend, i guess he was late to start after dolling himself up and by then everyone had gone to bed!!!!:P

Hi Madmountainman,

I were at the Dragon too, and marveled at your heated abode, where do you get one of those? Or is it a homebrew special!

Tipi's, although somewhat expensive, are available from http://www.nordicoutdoor.co.uk/ There are other, cheaper tipis out there, but none of the quality you get with Tenttipi. The stoves, also a tad pricey, are available from the States; http://www.titaniumgoat.com/stoves.html, http://www.kifaru.net/TIPI.HTM and http://www.fourdog.com/page3.html. Four Dog are the mutts, but all pack flat and the best thing to burn in them is charcoal. I have the Kifaru, but i'm wanting a Four Dog as it's slightly bigger size will heat my tipi better and for longer without frequent filling!
