Draining the tank

Does anyone know the (correct) procedure for draining the tank on an F650GS? Canadian winter is coming and I want to bring my bike inside for recreational embellishment in the warmth.

You can't "drain" the tank

In answer to my question, my dealer reports that there is no drain on the tank. If it is necessary to remove fuel, they suck it out of the tank in their shop. Presumably siphoning would also work. Because the tank is sealed, however, they recommend leaving the fuel in the tank even if the bike is indoors.

Thanks for that info. I have been wondering how to do this myself.
