DrAlf’s ‘Spirited’ Road Ride.

Looks like I've managed to enlist the services of the best last man in the world for the 3rd year running.

MickDB1 will be handling the action at the back. For those that haven't met Mick, he's one of the very best - capable of fixing just about anything with nothing more than a roll of gaffer tape and a blunt rusty spoon. Oh and he's a very nice bloke too:D

Gonna be good:) Thanks Mick:thumb

I did enjoy the last 'spirited' ride out, and make sure you stop in that little town for Mr. Whippy ice cream too (I do re-call buying one for Mick).

Oh, and Adam, if you can remember what the hell made us laugh so much that I fell off my chair that evening, I'd be grateful for the memo. :D

Look forward to seeing you all on Saturday. To confirm, I will be riding solo so it should be a ‘spirited’ ride after all:) Don’t forget to arrive with at least 100 miles worth of fuel – more if possible. HP2MM riders excluded obviously;) Forecast is currently perfect biking weather. Gonna be good:thumb

I had to very diplomatically persuade Miss Alf that she wouldn't enjoy it and that driving the camper down would be much more fun;)

Looking forward to the weekend a lot:)

got a weekend pass off the Mrs. so will be arriving friday and would like to join in the fun on saturday :D

Excellent. You are more than welcome to join. Its almost Saturday already...:D

One cracking ride out route sorted:thumb 120 miles with options to extend or reduce as required. Believe me, it will seem like a lot further:)

First break is about 45 minutes in to the ride but with no amenities apart from bogs so bring a drink/mars bar etc. I'll have space in the big blue topbox if required.

Next break is late lunch with options for all at Burton on the Water - lunch by the river.

If of interest I may stop at the pub on the way back, drop people off and do an extra short-ish loop at the end of the day for the hardcore;):augie

Should be a good blast. Looking forward to this a lot:)

Yes we are and we'll be doing Fish Hill again:D

Aah Fish Hill. Thats where we used to practice getting the pegs on the deck on our RD, KH and GT250's. One or 2 of us had more than our pegs down on that bloody hill but it was a bit tighter back then:thumb2

What a fantastic ride out many thanks to all who contributed to organising this but special thanks to Dr A for a spirited pace :friday

Thanks Dr Alf, most excellent ride, really enjoyed the beautiful bit of England you call home, especially as a first time visitor.....much appreciated....:beerjug:
