Finally found out how to remove the annoying signature everytime I post.....

Well, it worked. Thanks Dr Farkoff.

I didn't have any of the aluminium epoxy, just used plenty of PTFE but it's sealed and the nut is tight. Now just need to go for a long ride. That might happen in the next few months..... Who knows.

To resurrect this thread…….does anyone know which of the exhaust mount stud holes are the ones which you need to be careful of as you can drill through to an oil way? (Top/bottom..both sides?)

buy a stud , measure it , tape on the drill bit minus 2mm .

be careful with all 3 ?

It’s an 1150 so just 2 either side, the top ones on both have sheared

Sorted just need to sort out the corrosion after it looks like it’s been at the bottom of the North Sea for the last 20 years
