A Friend suffered a drive shaft failure on his 2005 RT whilst on the Isle of Man. Fortunately it was detected early and did no other damage than destroying the lower yoke and UJ.

Motorworks ”Stepped up to the plate” and delivered a replacement in 2 days.

This is what he got. In my opinion a far superior product to that supplied by BMW. At a reasonable price £560. And further more an item that is fully rebuildable with a kit supplied by Motorworks for £147.

As far as I can tell, they (Motorworks) stock similar items for all the R1200 hex head and R1150 range of bikes.IMG_0476.jpeg
 
That is a better option, re buildable is always better IMHO.
