Dropped 02 1150, ABS not working?

Another post for a freind, he dropped his 1150 green laneing and the joint between the pipe and front master cylinder started to leak brake fluid. He tightened the joint and bled the brakes, and all seemed well, however the ABS doesn't seem to be working and the front wheel locks. The ABS warning lights go out like normal, which seems to imply it's working, but you can lock the front wheel
Any ideas what the problem is here, or what he needs to do to sort it?

I've no idea, can you tell me what to do for both types of brakes?

No, the front locks no matter what speed the bike's going.

I would do, but i haven't half hour spare at the moment to do all the typing.

I have an 02 and over here they are non-servo. It was the last of the non-servo years....allegedly.
