Dropped it for the first time

Well, it had to happen sooner or later.

Pulling out of a bike park in Victoria and the bike lurched to a halt, engine still running. Weird. Tried to pull away again and it lurched even more violently, slightly on it's side and I couldn't hold it up. Car parked next to me, couldn't even lay it down gently. Clattered into the ground, shattering the screen. Poo.

It was overdue, I'm only a weedy fella and I've had it two months.

Thinking of a replacement from Motorworks...

Seriously though, sorry to hear about the drop and hope you get it all back together again soon. Now might be a good time to think about swapping the screen. If you have problems with buffeting, I can recommend the MRA Vario.

Vario +1 I put a TT extender on top of mine, the two made a huge difference.

Got to add my twopenneth...best mod you can do to the GS for distance work..MRA Vario..bite the bullet and get one

Disc lock was closest, it was actually my ruddy great chain that I left through the back wheel. Er...hmmm.

As for the screen, I'm loving the look of it without it, but need something as I've got a huge, fast trip planned soon and there's no way I'm doing without a screen.

As for the Vario screens, thanks for the suggestions, but to be honest, I can't stand the look of them. Call me vain, but they ruin the look. I'm going for the Motorworks tall screen, as it seems closest to the Ermax tall one already fitted. I may cut it right down to just above the clocks, though. Looks great!

you're right there

IMHO Vario = how to ruin the look of a GS in one fell swoop - they're ugly enough already
