I saw an F650 dropped in a deep pond at the BMW off road course. We dragged it out, took the plug out turned it over on the starter for a while and put the plugs back.
i'd like to say it started first stab, but it took quite a while. However, start it eventually did, and the rider used it the rest of the day without apparent ill-effect.

if your bike has the 650 single then you can buy my engine if you like, £250 bargain the paintwork is nasty but you can put all my internals in yours and you can ride again.
