DTC modes.

Was looking at my 2020 today in regards rider modes.

I have the dongle in for the pro modes. And noticed that my dash only shows 3 segments on the DTC setting.

It says "slight wheelie possible" but its really slight, as in kills it the moment the wheel lifts.

I've seen online bikes where there are 4 segments to the DTC setting.

Is this later bikes?

Is the only way to wheelie to turn off the DTC totally?

Take a look at "just the way it is" yt channel. He has a video showing all the possible permutations.

I’ve done some chat gpt searching and it does seem that the later bikes with the facelift indicators have tweaked software in that department.

My bike has the GS animation / logo on startup.

Apparently the later bike software says BMW Motorrad instead?

Mine is a 2022 but I couldn’t tell you what it says on the dash on start up.
