Hi - the tyres on my bike are looking like they could do with replacement shortly. Ive been considering putting some enduro style (ie 90% road, 10% offroad) on but cant find any with both front and back available for the 120/90-18 and 90/90-18 (or 100/90-18) sizes. Ive so far looked at the Metzeler Tourance and Pirelli Scorpion MT90 without much luck.

Anyone done this or have any recommendations or suggestions for me?

Cheers.

I tried to find dual purpose tyres in this size for a project I was working on. No luck i'm afraid.

I have used Heidenau K60 Dual Sport 120/90- 18 rear and 90/90-18 front as a winter tyre on my R80RT mono
Wish I had them on at the moment instead of the Roadriders with all the mud and gravel on the roads.

18"front is the problem - have a look and see if Dunlop sell anything in that size.

The K70/TT100 works as well on gravel as any 90/10 tire - I have them on my B44 and R75/7.

Anekee3's are a step up, if they have an 18" front, and Mitas E07'S , although a 50/50 tire, have all the grip you need and last me three times as long as a Tourance or Scorpion, and the old tech carcase actually suits the Airhead rather well.

After a bit of digging, it does indeed appear that choice is limited to the Heidenau K60 in 90/90/18 - 120/90/18. The scorpions are available in 100/90/18 but no matching rear. Found that annoying as its usually the front thats the difficult one to get in that config. Heidenau's look good anyway, will consider those when changing over. Upon inspection it appears my BT45's are in better shape than I thought so ill likely run those through the spring and summer and come back to this once the roads deteriorate again!

Mitas E-08.
You can fit rear tyres on the front of motorcycles but you can not use front tyres on the rear legally.
I have a brand new E-08 here 130/80-18 to sell.
