.. I want one ..

but if I get one I can't do what I do with my GS

then I will have to do what I don't like doing on my GS

so is it worth the swap? :nenau

Can you live with a 72 mile tank range ? but great fun.

Exactly what I mean .. I need to do complete different things on the motorbike.

Okay list what you like doing on a bike and then scrub the ones out that the Hyper can't do.

The hyper makes a great 2nd bike but could not be my only bike.

I nearly bought one but went for the Aprilia Dorsoduro instead.

Same sort of bike. To early to say if the swap was a good idea (from a GS)

The DD is now fitted with the aprilia gel seat, panniers, heated grips, 12v socket for the heated vest etc.

This also has a silly tank range (100-120miles) so I have bought a 2L container and the bag for it which straps to the back seat. This will give an extra 25miles. I also carry a small silicone tube under the seat in case I run out. Another 2L would easily slip inside a pannier of required.

But I bought the bike to go touring on, this to some might seem strange but I find it strange that people can't see the attraction:D

A bike that is great fun to ride is one you want to ride more, mine will be off around Europe in the summer seeking out those lovely mountain roads:thumb

I just don't understand the idea of fitting small tanks? How does this improve a bike?

If you're serious and you seldom are:augie

Isnt a Multistrada 1100s more or less the same as the Hypermotard with better range and comfort and not such a pretty face. It would certainly do more of what you do on your GSA.

Not sure you're Microtechs will fit:D
