Wanted Ducati Monster Wanted

Inda, if your open to other bike suggestion you might want to consider an older 900SS. I recently got one and I really like it. Mine is a 1995 900SS, not for sale by the way. Two chums and I are off to the Brno Moto GP, 2000 miles round trip. I find the bike very comfortable so will be taking it and I’m 75. The advantage they have over a comparable Monster is twice the range on a tank of petrol and wind protection

Exactly.
My 2012 is fine I'm glad to say.
The Monster came off SORN today so while I was giving it to the once over before a fantastic 70 mile blast around my favorite country roads I squirted some WD40 down the starter button and up the holes underneath the switches. The starter button is now as sensitive as a nuns clitoris 👍God I love that bike

Sorry its taken me an age to get back to you, the guy has been on leave.

The bike is red but is a cat N having been dropped. It has a dent in the tank but no other damage. Not sure if you would be interested?

Hi! sorry to hear about your brother. Have you considered a scrambler? I am too tall for one, but it rides well and a tad more comfortable than a monster, especially in town I would imagine. Good luck with your search!

Thanks for all the messages guys. Haven’t thought much about the Monster. Dealing with my brothers estate and family.
Was thinking of a more modern monster if Im honest. Thanks for the links. They all look great

Had an early M900S with bikini fairing and seat cover, both in carbon fibre as well as twin carbon Termignoni's, Took it to WDW2000 and several track days. Brilliant bike.

Got an S4 after that and it had less "soul". Nice but didn't have a connection with it.

Oops, the 916SP happened to sit alongside the Monster.

I love the air cooled 2 valve engine in my 1100. Only develops around 100 bhp but it delivers it so nicely, plenty enough for the road and was great fun on this morning's blast down to Rye for brekkie
