Due mobile upgrade

Hi All
My mobile phone contract is due for renewel at the moment i have the nokia N96 which is a good phone ,so i was thinking of having one of those Iphone thingies that everyone seems to be getting. My question is do they work on the GS-911 or not, all your advice greatly appreciated.

dont sign a 24 month contract for a 3GS iphone

cos in about 8 weeks time the new 4GS iphone comes out

Looking at the issues they had with the 3Gs initially, i'd leave it a month or two after the launch of the 4G

Thanks for your replies as i heard some people say that the GS-911 did not work on the Iphone 3gs but would anyone know if it would work on the new version coming out !!!!
