Ok im a technophobe, so please be gentle.
I have a garmin quest. I would like to hear it in my helmet.
Then maybe a rider to passenger add on later.

Cheap as chips please.
Cheers

There is no Bluetooth option on the Quest (good) but there is an audio out via the connector cable. You will need a special cable which incorporates a power supply cable for bike power and an audio out cable. GPS Warehouse have these for about £20.

To get the audio to you helmet you could just plug earphones into the audio out (I think the GPS Warehouse cable is a 2.5 jack socket) but a better solution would be install an Autocom or similar comms system to the bike with mike and speakers in helmets. This gives you the audio out from your satnav plus rider to pillion and, if you want it, mobile phone, MP3 player and bike to bike.

Not particularly cheap but the cheaperst way to do what you want.

Simple solution is mono headphone from Maplins telephone section, clips over the ear, well under a tenner if I remember correctly works fine if it suits your ear/helmet, 3.5mm jack.

Still need to get the sound out of the Quest and the spec of the socket I have seen is 2.5 mm. I would be glad if anyone would correct me if I am wrong

Andy, you may be correct on the 2.5mm if this is the case Maplins also supply a step up 2.5mm to 3.5mm adaptor or the reverse if thats what is needed, I have a Qpac mount which takes care of most of the connection problems & you can specify the sound output jack size.
