Could a fellow Tosser please take a photy of the aux socket locations on an 05 GS and put an arrow to where they are located. ive looked and cant see. Clearly im blind as well and dumb. I know one is meant to be in the headstock area but il be damned if I can see it

Cheers

Dave

The power socket on the front is not the same as the one on the back. It is located about the centre of the oil cooler at the back. But it is only a small two pin plug with a plastic cover to protect it. You have to push a tiny clip on the cover and pull to remove it. HTH. Graham

'05 GS will not have an ISO accessory socket at the headstock, only one under the nearside of the pillion seat. Only some variants of the Adventure will have the front socket.

I thought there was only one as standard, which is under the seat? Any other are optional extra :nenau

i have an 04 which has a power outlet at the headstock, as mentioned it is well covered but mine was on the left of the headstock at the rear with the wiring. this is of course not to be confused with the 12v hella outlet under the left hand side of the seat. :thumb

as for pictures if you head to the gps info thread and open the how to make a gps canbus lead there are plenty of pics there to help

cheers
