Put a set of these on the xch after finding out that dunlop dont do the 606 in this country, first impressions are very good off road, confidence inspiring in the slippery stuff after using the mt21s that were on it and very good handling on the road. only down side so far is a huge amount of vibration ... mad my teeth rattle for a while, but taking my ear plugs out helped wierdly:nenau felt better towards the end of the ride but i'll probably get the wheels balanced as i put in some rimlocks at the same time to see if that helps at all. slightly less gap between the knobbles than a scorpion pro.

Would be interestead to see how many miles you get from them.I like the MT21 but would like something a bit better in the mud and gloop, these look ideal.
Keep us posted

will do, wear rate was my concern when i got them but time will tell :)

well 500miles down the line, my verdict is great grip but high wear on the rear, also signs of the nobblies splitting and stress marks. So put that together with the high vibration (mainly from the front wheel) will keep whats left of them for the rallies and for the summer months either go back to the mt21s or my trials tyre, winter will be either mitas or army special rear , havent decided which yet, and mt21 front

I think you can't beat the MT21 for allround use

53hp and a 140/80 rear knobbly on a 150kg dirt bike will not take anything much more aggressive, unless you want to replace the rear every 600-700 road miles:eek:

ok i'm a numpty

put the geomax back on for the ryedale and found a thorn through the tyre,:blast fitted the tyre and pumped to the recommended road pressure and voila verry little vibration ... i reckon i must have got that thorn through it on the first trail :augie( about 1/2 a mile from my house) and then did best part of 400 miles:stupid with a low pressure/flat front tyre with no ill affects other than the vibes on the road ..... good job i had rim locks on
