Apparently you record onto a 3inch dvd disc take it out put it in your DvD player and away you go?

But its 3inches? Am i missing something here apart from a few brain cells:rolleyes:

Be aware that the Sony cameras that record straight to disc use a proprietary file format that makes later editing of the file a real pain.

I dont think you can edit it after finalising it. i maybe wrong as i have just recieved it. If you want that you have to put it onto the PC before doing so.
But its great, Just whack it in the DVD and away you go. Great quality too.

Very pleased

You must be very proud, now put it away.

3 inches on a Good Day!

It's only a mini DVD, drops into the inner recess on your DVD tray. About 1 hours recording, easily damaged, easily lost, but no rewind and nearly instant access.

Banger.....be a bit careful making sure you have enough blank discs, particularly before a long trip away.

I may well be wrong, but when I was looking around at Vid cams a while back, the magazines all said that the mini-dvd discs were not available in many places, especially abroad, and that as they hadn't taken off as a storage media, they might be discontinued soon.

Could be an idea to check this out or get a stock of them in when you find some at a good price.
